The incumbent candidates on the ballot for the City of Mount Pleasant General Election on May 2 were unopposed. As a result, the election was officially canceled last night and (from left) Councilmembers Henry Chappell, II, Galen Adams and Tim Dale took the Oath of Office for a new two-year term. Councilmember Dale was also unanimously elected by his peers on the council to continue to be Mayor Pro Tem. Congratulations, and thank you for your service!
